Woman in induced coma after being hit by truck

A WOMAN is in an induced coma after being hit by a truck in Brisbane’s north.

The crash happened on Braun Street in Deagon under the Gateway overpass.

Paramedics were called to the scene at 5.10am.

The woman was taken in a serious condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route as police investigate the incident.
