Man dies after dispute

A MAN has died after a verbal dispute at a Queensland home turned physical, police believe. Investigating officers are hoping to talk to a man who left the scene before police arrived to the Bundaberg residence on Wednesday.

Officers were called to the Sylvan Drive address at Moore Park Beach just before 5pm, where they found a 46-year-old Silkstone man unconscious and without a pulse.

Initial investigations indicate that he, along with a 57-year-old man, attended the residence, which was occupied by a 31-year-old man. Police believe a dispute over property followed, which turned physical.

Police performed CPR on the 46-year-old before he was taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital, where he later passed away.

His cause of death is currently unknown.

Investigating police would like to talk to the 31-year-old man, who left the property before officers arrived.

All three men were known to each other, police said.
