Woman dies after church carpark crash

A WOMAN has died after a car reversed into her in a church carpark in the NSW Hunter region. Police say the 66-year-old fell to the ground and hit her head after being struck by a car in the carpark of a church on Hyndes Street in West Wallsend, west of Newcastle. She was taken to hospital and treated for injuries to her head and pelvis but died yesterday. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
