A MOTORCYCLIST couldn't remember an accident which left him seriously injured last night, paramedics said.

The 38-year-old was involved in the smash involving a car at the intersection of Hallam Rd and Willow Drive, Hampton Park, about 7.30pm.

Intensive care paramedic Greg Nicholls said the man was confused when paramedics arrived within 10 minutes.

"The man may have been briefly unconscious and was quite confused when we arrived," Mr Nicholls said.

"He suffered a fractured pelvis and was in significant pain."

Paramedics gave the main pain relief and fluid.

He was taken to the Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.
