Cyclist in serious condition after being hit by car on Sunshine Coast

A CYCLIST was trapped under a car after an accident at Alexandra Headland this morning. The 46-year-old was trapped under the car on Alexandra Parade following the collision about 10am. He was freed when paramedics arrived but was in an ``altered state of consciousness'' and suffering chest, scalp and possible internal injuries. He was taken to Nambour General Hospital in a serious condition.
