Head injuries in caravan park assault

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was set upon by three men armed with a baseball bat and iron bar.


Police were called to the White Sands caravan park at Murray Bridge just before 1.30am after a disturbance.


They found a Murray Bridge man, 36, with a serious head wound.


He was taken to the Murray Bridge Hospital and later transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.


He is in a serious but stable condition, with a fractured skull and cuts to his left upper arm.


The assault is believed to be domestically related and the attackers are known to the victim.
