Cyclist dies in hospital after single-vehicle crash

A CYCLIST found unconscious on a Sunshine Coast road on Friday has died in hospital.

The 54-year-old man was found lying on English Rd, Kiamba, just after 5pm.

He was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with head and chest injuries, and died last night as a result of his injuries.

Police investigations suggest the man fell from his bike and no other vehicles were involved in his death.
